Just a spectator but really interested in how people are building bikes for this class. The engine rules state that everything has to be OEM. Does that mean you can run factory race parts like YEC and the Kawasaki race kits? Parts are OEM, so I don't see why not. I don't know about the HRC parts or Suzuki but Yoshi parts would be for the GSXR 600. Just curious what others think.
If you can, I don't see how anyone would not build an R6. Looking at the YEC catalog you can get "uniform weight pistons/rods", "optimally balanced cranks", 4 different head gaskets and adj cam sprockets, intake/exhaust cams and valve springs, lightweight generator and cover...
I know Richard Gadson built a 600 last year. Maybe in anticipation for this class.
