Hi guys, just joined and wasn't sure what section to post this in, so put it here
Basically I'm going to build a Yamaha raptor 700 with a bike engine in it.
This will be used on the road as a sleeper but I also want to take it down the 1/4 mile.
I would like 200 hp at the RW but then either Nitrous or maybe a turbo. S
I can't do it all at once so maybe over a year funds permitted
So the first of many questions is what would be the best base engine to start with?
I have spoken to a reptable guy over here that says a gen one busa, leave the motor stock except for a spacer in the head to lower compression, and then a stage one turbo at 4-6psi. He estimates that should give about 230-250 hp (iirc) 😬
My thoughts were put some money into an engine and then run a 50-70shot just for the 1/4 mile
So now I'm so confused
